I ran and grew a St. Pete based social media page, handling everything from content creation and strategy to community engagement. I also served as the on-camera personality behind the page, helping build a strong connection with the local audience. During my time running the account, I grew it from 32k to 58k followers in under a year by sharing content focused on new spots opening, events, food, and things to do around the city.
My work included shooting and editing short-form video, creating lifestyle photography, and covering local happenings in real time. More than 20 videos went locally viral, and at its peak, the page was averaging over 1 million views per month. I focused on making content that felt authentic and useful to the community while staying on top of trends.
Alongside social media, I wrote articles for the DTSPfun WordPress site covering new openings, upcoming events, local highlights, and celebrity appearances. I also worked with local businesses on paid partnerships, selling and creating sponsored content that felt natural to the page while delivering results for advertisers.
